Students are encouraged to explore their reactions, assumptions and perspectives when dealing with difference. They explore what it means to be an Australian in a diverse society, and reflect on their responsibilities as individuals and Australians.

Students look at how immigration has shaped Australia, and the outcomes of diversity. Our presenters share their stories and help students develop intercultural understanding.

Our programs interfaith framework address SA School Curriculum ( see footer for more information)
Our Jewish, Muslim and Christian presenters look at the assumptions, stereotypes and media portrayal of their cultures and/or religions, and discuss the impact this has on them and their communities. Students will explore their own perceptions of diversity and ponder the challenges and benefits of being part of a culturally diverse society. Presenters are happy to answer students' questions about their religious practice and personal experiences.
